Here's how you can hide apps on your iPhone:
Several methods exist to hide apps on your iPhone, ranging from simple organization to more discrete measures.
Moving Apps to the App Library: The easiest way to "hide" apps is to move them to your App Library. This removes them from your Home Screen without uninstalling them. To do this, long-press the app icon, select "Remove App," and then choose "Move to App Library."
Removing Apps from the Home Screen: Similar to moving to the App Library, you can choose to only Remove%20from%20Home%20Screen. This is done by long-pressing the app icon, selecting "Remove App," and then choose "Remove from Home Screen."
Hiding Entire Home Screen Pages: You can hide entire pages of your Home Screen. To do this, long-press on an empty area of your Home Screen until the icons jiggle. Tap the dots at the bottom of the screen representing your Home Screen pages. Uncheck the pages you want to hide and tap "Done." These pages, along with their apps, will be hidden.
Using Restrictions (Screen Time): This is a more robust method, but it can prevent the hidden apps from being used until you reverse the restrictions. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Allowed Apps. Here, you can toggle off the apps you want to hide. The apps will disappear from the Home Screen and will not be searchable.
Hiding Purchased Apps: You can also hide apps from your Purchase%20History in the App Store. This requires a few more steps within the App Store interface.
Note: No method truly prevents a determined user from finding hidden apps if they have access to the device's settings. Moving to the app library and using screen time restrictions are the most effective methods for casual hiding.
